As a Kansas City native, Sammi attended undergrad at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and, in 2012, moved to Miami, Florida for law school. Since graduating cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, Sammi has returned to Kansas City and focuses on family law litigation including custody, divorce, child support, modification actions, paternity actions, adoptions, surrogacy, and appellate work. Sammi is licensed to practice law in both Missouri and Kansas and maintains good standing with the Florida bar.
Sammi was recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2021 and 2022. She currently acts as Co-Chair for the Social Committee of the Young Lawyer Section of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and serves on the board of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. Sammi previously served on the Young Lawyers Section of the Missouri Bar as a representative of District 3 and participated in KCMBA’s Bar Leadership Academy, Ross T. Roberts Trial Academy, and the National Family Law Trial Institute in Houston. Additionally, she is involved with the Johnson County Bar Association, and the Association for Women Lawyers.

However, she finds that most disputes can be settled with clear guidance, reasonable advice, and minimal conflict. More than anything, her goal is to help her clients through difficult times and leave a positive impact.
