Kea Bird-Riley is a former gaming industry marketing executive who brings a unique background to Krigel & Krigel. A Jackson, Mississippi native, Kea graduated from Mississippi College where she earned a B.S. in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations. Kea’s career as a marketing executive in the gaming industry began in Biloxi, MS and eventually brought her to Kansas City’s gaming industry. As a marketing executive, she managed and led the company’s public relations, community relations, direct mail marketing and promotion strategies.
Kea decided to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming an attorney and earned her law degree in 2007 from the University of Missouri School of Law – Kansas City. She has experience in insurance litigation and family law. Kea’s current legal practice involves representing clients in matters of divorce, custody modifications, adoptions, child abuse and neglect, paternity and protective orders. Her practice also includes matters involving assisted reproductive technology. Kea is also a mediator in family law matters and a presenter at Guardian ad Litem training seminars.
Kea is licensed to practice in Missouri, Kansas and in the United States District Courts of the Western District of Missouri.
