Karen Schneider Rosenberg was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri at Columbia, where she earned a B.A. in History and her law degree. While in law school, Ms. Rosenberg was a member of the Missouri Law Review. She began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Jack Pritchard of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District.
Ms. Rosenberg joined Krigel & Krigel, P.C. in 1986. She concentrates her practice in the area of adoptions, including private adoptions, agency adoptions, step-parent adoptions, interstate adoptions, second-parent adoptions, and same-sex adoptions.
Her practice also includes matters involving assisted reproductive technology, including gestational and traditional surrogacy, egg donation, and embryo donation. She has been a speaker and presenter on various legal topics for adoption and infertility support groups. She is also co-author of “The Adoption Choice”, an article that appeared in Missouri Medicine, a periodical for physicians and other medical professionals. Ms. Rosenberg is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois.
