Christopher R. Smith

Christopher Smith was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1980. He obtained his legal education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, graduating in 1983. He was admitted to the Missouri Bar on September 24, 1983, and to the Kansas Bar on October 25, 2005.  Christopher is an active litigator and primarily practices in the arenas of workers’ compensation and family law.

Over the years, Christopher has been involved in charitable activities. He currently serves as executive committee member-at-large of the board of directors of SAVE, Inc., a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide housing for individuals with HIV/AIDS and for individuals at risk of developing HIV/AIDS.

Christopher lives in the Brookside neighborhood of Kansas City with his miniature schnauzer, Guy.
