Steven J. Braun was born in Minnesota and raised in Mason City, Iowa .  He received his bachelor's degree from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, and holds both a Master of Arts in Urban Planning and Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Iowa .  Mr. Braun is a speaker at seminars on art law, probate topics, and computer law.  He is the author of material and articles on art law, probate law, and of Chapter 22 of the Missouri Corporate and Partnership Forms Handbook published by the Missouri Bar Association.  Mr. Braun has served as vice-chair of the Missouri Bar Association committee on computer law and chair of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association on computer law.  He has lived in Prairie Village, Kansas since 1985 with his wife, Jean W. Braun.
