Anita Butler is a senior partner in the law firm of Krigel & Krigel, P.C., where she practices in the area of estate planning, including wills, trusts, probate administration, administration of guardianship and conservatorship estates, elder law and related tax areas. Prior to going into private practice Anita was a Senior Vice President in the Trust Division of First National Bank of Kansas City (now Bank of America).

Anita received her B.S. degree, cum laude, from Central Missouri State University and her J.D. degree with honors, from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Anita is a frequent lecturer on the subjects of estate planning and elder law. She is a member of The Missouri Bar, a founding member and officer of the Missouri Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, a member of the Estate Planning Society of Kansas City and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
